#16443 - RE: Procomm |
Natty's issue is downloading a program to his target. He reports seeing the monitor commands to do this.
As Andy indicated "downloading" to the target will require procomm's "UPLOAD" function (after pressing the "D" key telling the monitor you want to download). Assuming an intel hex transfer without protocol; in my version of procomm you would press "PgUp". If your version is similar you would now select "ascii transfer" using the "7" key. You are now prompted for a path/filename to transfer. If your monitor uses x-modem or an alternate protocol select it from the list which results from pressing "PgUp". As to Procomm/Hyperterm as indicated this is a matter of taste and you ability to tolerate Hyperterms screen handling. regards, p |
