Forgot about TERM. Used it quite a bit in the past and agree it's very usable. I prefer procomm because of it's wealth of setup parameters.
As an example, i once needed to write E2ROM in page mode remotely while maintaining a 19.2 bps exchange rate (a lash up not production). The ability to set the end of line delay for intel hex ascii transfers made this easy without over-running the e2 write latency. regards, p |
