Mahmood, 89C55WD is supposed to be backward compatible, it covers all features of 89c51, so I would definetly expect it works, but not.

I`ve just wanted to add watchdog feature to my existing circuit, that`s why I swap it to the damn 55WD, but I couldn`t get it worked with existing code, let alone WD.
