Meantime i checked out the hardware of both of µC's, and couldn't find a difference between min and max ratings, absolute maximum ratings and timings, unless the 8955WD can use a 33Mc clock...
And there is 1 character on the display, so initialisation and read/write seems to work...
I suppose , Rustu, you check your BUSY status on your display before writing the next character to it ?
