There are a lot of old timers on this forum. I myself started with the 8008 about 1974. Even before that I had ten years on things which never made it out of industrial arena. I have been thru 8080, 8085, Z80, 6502 and also the 2560 thru the latest and greatest. I have been self employed since 1977. Threw it all I have seen a lot guys come and go but the ones who last are the ones who can back up what they say with facts. There are a lot of young guys here who get impressed with gobble gook and then latter on quote it like it was gospel. My person opinion is to stick to the things which can be proven and have been time tested. I have stuck with these principles and have been able to make a decent living from it.
