Yes.....laying down the 0.5 mm TQFP is really a piece of cake after you play around with it a bit. What is next to impossible it to remove them once they are down. Successful removal required having one of those irons that has a tip to heat all the leads at once. And do not follow the BS application note that Cygnal has for taking up these parts. You are almost guarenteed to lose pads with their silly scheme. (See here for Cygnal Chip Removal Humor. If you look at Figure 20 you can even see a loose pad right in the App Note.
