Let us, istead of all this make it a condition for answering "major project questions" the the following is answered with yes

1) Have you made a blinking LED a) using a program loop and b) using timer interrupt and successfully downloaded, debugged and operated that.

2) Have you familiarized yourself enough with the "bible" chapters 1,2 and 3 to have a good idea of what information is there and where it is.

3) Are you willing to follow advice, rather than restate "without interrupts" or such.
