#41038 - 8051 as I²C peripheral - Good idea

If you can get a 8051 under 2 Euros, then it is a worthwhile effort to implement software I2C rotuines in the micro.

And if it has a flash, then you dont even have to invest or take the trouble of burning in the code with a programmer.

And as to the way to actually implement them you can check out the Handy ASM routines in my home page - look to your left and click on "user pages"
