"High speed" is a relative term, isn't it? If my PC had an 8250 UART, I would consider 115.2kbaud to be high speed serial. If you read my post titled 'Above Suggestions' I redefined what I meant - anything faster than 115.2 kbps. I simply want a standard PC interface that is straightforward to work with and gives me higher data rates than 16550-based RS232.
