Guys,
The ad is misleading to say the least! If you you are going to compare microcontrollers, use the total numbers , not just the numbers from individual companies. I have used the PIC family and they have their uses, mainly as keyboard drivers, simple device drivers, etc. The 8051/8052 family is my choice when I need a microprocessor to do multiple tasks. The PIC has the horsepower to do only one task at a time, that is my opinion. Jacob |
