#51424 - RE: interrogating the 8052 chip Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thanks for the response guys.
To explain further, what I'm trying to do is develop some test equipment that is able to run on my pc for looking at the outputs from this particular 8052 chip. The reason for this is that the manufacturer of the equipment the chip is installed in wants a lot of money to purchase their test equipement, so I figured their must be another way around this. Would you have any recommendations of software that could run on my pc that would display the outputs (via Serial port). So in essence I don't necessarily need to know the original programming, but would like to interpret the chips outputs. The chip is used on a simple peice of equipment that just changes audio channels and volume. Thanks again. Stuart. |
