If you are just trying to look at ASCII serial output from the device you could try the (truly dreadful, but it works sometimes) hyperterminal that comes with Windows. You'll need to be sure the electronic protocol output by the device is RS232 and configure the software protocol (baudrate etc) correctly in hyperterminal. |
