Interlacing has no applicability because an LED does not have any significant persistence. MUXed LEDs rely almost entirely on the human brain to do the integration process. Interlacing works on a TV tube because the phoshor has itself an integrating effect. It is this fact that makes TV screens acceptable even though the frame rate is only 30 Hz (25 Hz for Europe and elsewhere).
