I have read the articles and find them way interesting , but they
doesnt seems to answer some of my questions .

1) The Bulletproof article doesn't tells much about shield grounding,
what about in cases of plastic chasis where to tie the Shield
ground ? .If we connect two Battery powered equipments which
has floating supplies?

2) I have only 7 devices to connect to 485 bus and bit wondering about
their electrical spacing Please find the following .I have considered
termination at the two ends is the below arrangement fine .

SLAVE3-----5feet-----SLAVE2------5feet------SLAVE1------5feet-----MASTER .

100 Feet cable run (from single Vcc and Gnd ) .

----SLAVE4-----5feet------SLAVE5------5feet------SLAVE6 .

With this my cable run is roughly 125 feet .

3) I am sending Vcc and GND cable to each node so do I require
galvanic isolation ?


4) Anything that I have missed .
