Yes of course. RPM = (60 x 1,000,000 )/ Period where period is in microsecond. The calculation is done by the MCU. This is using an optocoupler and a disc ( 100 mm diameter )with just one hole (3mm diamter ) on its periphery and thus the Period = Time taken by the hole to complete 1 revolution. Raghu |
