#57874 - RE: Virtually unlimited number of UARTs Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Andy, I know - when I come to the new hardware I always check all the things twice (=
Simple UART takes 76 Cells and 3 Selectors; so ten ones take about 800 Cells. Full UART with modem support takes 119 Cells and 5 selectors. The potential problem is not only limit of cells in chip, but of the selectors as well. Tomorrow I will try to select all the Cygnal built-in features in Fast Chip and take a look how much cells it needs to implement them all into E5. Good days! |
