I suspect in the case of Cygnal that Mr J John has not yet understood what you get regarding the on-board debug support.

I guess some people like to debug software with the "burn and learn" approach _OR_ have to mess around with the kludgy "debug monitor" method _OR_ like to spend all their beer money on emulator hardware.

PS....most people that I have talked to that have actually tried debugging and testing with a Cygnal part come back and say they are so glad I told them about it!! Look here to see the kind of things that are possible!!
