#58836 - RE: Poor example!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Erik,

Did you report this to Cygnal?

Yes, of course, I did. They replied "...In future versions of the
IDE we might be adding a "re-sync" button which will allow you to re-sync
the IDE with the code on the device without having to re-download. "

I do consider the Cygnal product a work in progress and as such have no beef with it, just have a problem when it is touted as "professional quality". I see no reason to doubt that some day it will reach the "professional ICE" standard, it just is not there yet. Some of the tings you see reflect that the people that makes it are not experienced '51 users e.g. the ac and dptr are not in the registers window, so to follow a register flow you have to open a 'misc' window, reduce it and the open a registers window and locate it below.

Again, as I stated before, you can not beat the price/perfomance, but it is not (yet) a 'professional' product.

Erik
