I searched IR (www.irf.com) and the maximum IGBTs voltage they make is 1200 volts, however they make thyristors with as many volts and amps as I please , but the problem will arrise when I want to switch the thyristor off at such hi voltages.
Do you know where I can get higher voltage IGBTs?
I also done some searching on electrolytic capacitors and the maximum voltage I found was 450V so far, Can you advise where to look for high voltage capacitors?
