charge stored in capacitor Q = C V where C in farads
Energy Stored in capacitor W = 0.5 Q * V = 0.5 C*V^2 Jouls.
I think this will help somehow, but what has time got to do with it, I guess If I have a load of 10 mOhm I can claculate the discharge rate of the capacitor.
Darn things got missy, have to do some iteration to pick best value for C to achieve my goal.
