#60860 - RE: Christmas Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Bob,
We clearly have a different definition of un-productive. If I was unproductive, I would have been sacked a long time ago. Anyway, I think Mahmood already mentioned that using timers in C or assembler is very much alike. After all it should come down to proper initialisation of the timers and correct handling of your timer events. The requirement is to have it written in C. As you state, you do not have a lot of knowledge of C. This means that this is the proper time to learn C. Whilst learning C, I would suggest that you write down your routine in assembler and start testing (regard that as a welcome distraction from studying C). You then should have (somewhere down the road) a working program in assembler, and the knowledge to translate it to C. If you then run into a specific problem, publish you findings and code sofar and you will very likely be pointed in the right direction by any member of this forum. Regards Patrick |
