Each of these companies make evaluation boards that are low cost and come with the software to download the program directly into the chip.
and all (at least P89C51Rx2, P89C66x, AT89C51Rx2 and the Cygnal f12x series) are dead easy to make a board that can be ISP programmed with. The Cygnal chips require you buy a JTAG inteface cable the Philips chips require that you buy nothing - that is if you plan a RS232 connection to your boartd anyhow. Erik |
