#69440 - RE: Is there a good $200 EPROM Burner?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Thanks for your continued interest.
1) just copy the JTAG connector/connections from your dev board and you are in business.
2) DO NOT wire wrap unless you own stock in an aspirin factory.

1) I don't know what JTAG is? I guess my question is: If I have 5 chips and I now want to put my debugged program onto them, what do I need to do? It is not mentioned in the 200 page manual:
http://www.silabs.com/products/...rev1_1.pdf

2) I wire wrapped a LED 10 bit array (and another chip) to my 8051 testing board. I did not know of another way of connecting wires to the 8051, short of connecting the C8051F330-TB (test board) to a bread board with the rest of the circuit. In other words, I have 3"x5" Cygnal circuit board with the 8051 chip, power connection, 2 LEDs and 20-30 pin-out wires. If I am connecting the 8051 to other circuits and devices, right now I am putting them on the circuit board. As an alternative, do you recommend soldering or just using a bread board? The 2 board solution (Test Board + Bread Board, with fragile connecting wires) is awkward carrying back/forth to school.
