#69441 - RE: Is there a good $200 EPROM Burner? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
1) I don't know what JTAG is?
2) I wire wrapped a LED 10 bit array (and another chip) to my 8051 testing board. I did not know of another way of connecting wires to the 8051, short of connecting the C8051F330-TB (test board) to a bread board with the rest of the circuit. 3)If I am connecting the 8051 to other circuits and devices, right now I am putting them on the circuit board. 4)As an alternative, do you recommend soldering or just using a bread board? 1) the 10 pin connector you connect the programming cable to 2) The Cygnal boards I have have flatcable connectors, which ACTUAL board do you have? (a link would be nice) Does it not have pins for flatcable connectors? 3) if the board has a 'dotpad' and you solder to it, fine 4) I stated that if you wirewrapped you should buy shares in an aspirin factory, if you breadboard, you better own one. The only reliable connection method is soldering. Erik |
