Well, I have to say I'm a bit overwhelmed. I guess I found out I got the wrong chips (again). And that I should use flash memory, and get a development kit. The "building a kit" thing scares me, since I have done so little hardware in my life, and every minor mistake seems like a mountain barrier. I'm trying to call the places before I buy something, but Xmas is a bad time: many places are closed. I appreciate all the advice (wisdom) you guys have proffered me. Now to absorb it and to act. (Like, even looking at a web page with 15 choices, I get overwhelmed.)
