 		 #70312 - Input signals to A/D
Hello,

I have some input circuitry to my A/D that lacks common mode range and I need to increase it. I am not a big analog designer and would appreciate some info. I have the schematic listed as follows:


A 4-20 mA signal is input across pins 11 and 10 or a 0-5 V or 0-10 V signal is input across pins 12 and 10. This input signal is then converted to digital and read by a micro.

The circuit is sourcing current and a sinking type circuit would be desired. The lack of common mode range causes some errors to occur.

Can somebody offer any suggestions on possible alternatives to increase the common mode range. Also, where is a good source to learn about analog design?
