Hi Kai. Thanks for the reply.
Q2 and U8 provide protection for R5 and R13 if 24V were to be applied across pin 11. The customer supplies 24V DC elsewhere to power the unit. U2 is not shown but it uses a supply of +24 and -5. You had mentioned the bi-directional zener diodes what are example part numbers? Can the circuit be improved with minor changes while still maintaining it's current limit protection? Joe |
