can i ask what inspired you to use PCF?
is it the accurancy? because you can use a temperature compensated crystal DS32KHz and be as accurate as +/-1 Min/yr instead of +/-5 Min/year with a conventional crystal. of course, your development costs will grow a little but if you need the accurancy... there is a graph of temperature vs ppm in page 2 http://pdfserv.maxim-ic.com/en/an/app58.pdf here's the link for DS32KHz http://pdfserv.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/DS32kHz.pdf |
