He is quite right, there is no intrinsic reason why a software RTC cannot be as accurate as a hardware one, subject to the proviso that it needs to remain powered ! If i'm wrong then why 2 people supported me and marked your post as an incorrect answer???? ...because they are misinformed perhaps ? It is totally immature you marked my answer as wrong just for vengeance 2 people voted againt you. Just because someone votes "for" you doesn't make you "right", just because someone votes "against" you, doesn't make you "wrong".
