So, what is wrong/illegal with it and what should be done to make it legal/safe?
A note on the schematic which says "Please check with your local EMI ............" Steve already mentioned that phase control is not illegal, but the EMI issue related to phase control. If emission is above certain levels (check with your local regulations), then it might be illegal. |
