what gate family is best suited for homebrew micro projects? Be it a latch for low memory byte or anything else.
Assuming you are talking 5V to 5V, use the 74HC series without the T, they give you the best noise immunity. To drive 5V logic from 3.3 devices use HCT or 74LVC. To drive 3.3V devices from 5V use 74LVC. Erik |
