There's also a nasty "offset" limitation. i.e. your 800 bytes get loaded into the upper 4K half of your 2K memory ;) (in other words, you need a MCU with a lot of memory because the program lands very far from the start of the memory, usually far enough to be beyond the END of the memory if the memory isn't big enough. Result: Keil eval won't work with the "small memory" MCUs.
