1) Post the C code you used - maybe you have some stupid bug you couldn't notice and together we'll find it.

2) Export the ASM from C and compare against "hand-written" working ASM, try to modify one or both programs gradually to be the same, so they converge at some point, the moment one starts working or the other stops working is where your problem is.
