Low speed is also a killer for carbide bits. The best results come from air turbine drills, like the ones dentists use. Incidentally, you can buy low cost "pre-owned" bits, that have come out of commercial drilling machines and have been resharpened. These are often a lot cheaper than new 'uns. Steve |
