#75721 - RE: No wonder it sucks! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The Roland may not like the weight of the Dremel though!
It has its own engine for drilling, not replacable. As for local PCB manufacturer... I might be wrong but that sounds like oxymoron. (Polish electronics industry is far behind the rest of the word... Last of major Polish achievments were probably the Junior computers, somewhat extended versions of ZX Spectrum. Really, for the cost of a single sided pcb, it's hardly worthwhile doing your own You're still talking from the side of an industrial manufacturer or citizen of a rich western country. Unfortunately prices like $50 is about 1/3 of my current salary, quite expensive for a hobby work. I'd probably go with the thermal transfer of laser printer toner, but it will be quite a while before I get my own and I don't have access to any (at least any, which owner would agree to run an inkjet printer transparency through it). The UV equipment isn't entirely cheap either. It just happened that I can use that Roland, so I do, not because it's my fancy to try milling/engraving instead of UV etching, but just because it's what I -can- do right now. |
