I was going through iButtons at www.iButton.com.

If you want to read or write you need A reader/writer device to get information into and out of the button. This can be the Blue Dot mentioned above, a pen-style probe, or a hand-held.


Now at the iButton.com site, it seems to me that at one time there can only be one interface be provided by PC so only one location can be provided with a iButton reader.

I want to have multiple points from where to read iButtons. I am considering a access control system which has multiple points at which iButton readers are provided.


Can some body let me know how this can be done
