Now a days PCBs makers makes prototypes(2-4 pcs)charging a little higher. A 6 cm x 6 cm double sided PTH prototype PCB will cost around Rs 500-700 (ie $10-$15)in India. You have to just give laser printed PCB design output. Singe sided PCB would cost only Rs200-Rs300 ($5-$5).
With such low cost of prototype , it the work, time & money enolved in making PCB yourself is worth. Besided investin in stock of costly chemical , you have to have invest quality drilling machine . What about cost of of wastages due to inexperience hands, your valuable time which you can spent in more critical aspect of soft deve, testing etc and also health hazards |
