Yes. This is a very valid point. It would be good if all those who submit code add details regarding the method in which the code was tested.

For instance if it is a math routine then the details of the assembler / compiler / simulator used to create the code and debug it can be added to the comment area. This will give lots of confidence to the guy planning to use the code and also address any incompatiblities because of a different tool.

I would go to the extent of saying that we can add an additional field called "Verification Details" in the code submission page itself. Most good things when left as an option, are ignored often.
