The title, which is fitting, is a quote from Queen Victoria, I do not refer to myself as "we".
Took a quick glance and, for no particular reason, ended up at http://www.discovercircuits.com/PDF-FILES...dgfls1.pdf. Here they show a 3V circuit with HCT devices. The HCT devices are 5V decices, not specified for operation below 4.5V. So, instead of using HC, which would always work, they state "NOTE! THIS CIRCUIT MAY NOT WORK WITH ALL 74HCT74 DEVICES" They suggest you design waaay off the specified limits, what a crock. Disclaimer: this is the only circuit I looked at, it does, in no way, prove or state that all circuits at that site are crap. Erik |
