I looked at a few circuits on this site and found a range from terribly foolish and hazardous to links to circuits posted in EDN Actually, the one about the mains-powered audio transformer says it was Published in EDN, Feb. 17, 1992: http://www.discovercircuits.com/P/pwr-actodc.htm Readers of EDN ought to be able to recognise the potential hazards with the circuit, and treat it accordingly - but to simply present it to the whole wide world without a word of warning is irresponsible. |
