#83088 - Hmm indeed.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Steve,

I am just guessing here, but I'm wondering if Hyperterminal doesn't behave differently under differt Windows versions. I run Windows 98 on all but one of my computers, and I run Windows 2000 on that one. Given the ferver with which you and others distrust or outright hate Hyperterminal, I can only suppose that you're using a different version in a different environment or something like that. I know that I prefer FLIP for it's convenience, but I've never had Hyperterminal give me the kinds of problems it seems to have given you. It's been said that it's better to have luck than a license to steal (I suppose it's implicit that the speaker means good luck), so I guess I'll just be grateful that I've been lucky.
