Hi again Aaron,
The circumstances you describe are pretty much what I expected, except the part about not having a serial port on your computer. If you don't have a serial port (RS-232) then how are you communicating with the development board? Has Atmel added a USB interface to their development board? There are chips to translate UART to USB, but I can tell you I have not been looking forward to the day I have to use one. Though I will say that I suspect the dread will have been worse than the event. |
