#83817 - Delayed threads Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Perhaps all new threads started by members that 1) Have been members less than 2 weeks, 2) Have negative karma, or 3) Have less than, say, 5 posts, must be reviewed first by a moderator before being available to the public? If the new thread looks reasonable we would approve it and it would be made public. If the new thread looks like a poorly asked question we would delete the thread and an email message would automatically be sent to the member explaining the action.
This would filter out the poorly asked questions but would not significantly delay valid questions posted by new members since Steve and I usually check the forum several times per day. Thoughts? Regards, Craig Steiner 8052.com Webmaster |
