#84242 - safe erp Responding to: ???'s previous message |
To be safe you need to keep within the 0.1 mW effective radiated power which doesn't sound much but will give a range of a few hundred meters and in some cases a kilometer or more. The erp is measured as the output from the antenna rather than the output stage of the transmitter so if you have a directional antenna then the 'gain' of the antenna has to be taken into account. |
