Yes Deepak all the cordless phone operating in India is illegal except those operating in 27Mhz band(Spot Freq.). Till date in India, only 27Mhz band is allowed for cordless phone not 49, 433 or 900Mhz. The FCC is the body who regulates airwaves in USA and other country FCC in not for India.
