Yes! The phone system! It depends on what you classify as a high frequency - if it's above 3.5khz then the phone system will attenuate it significantly. Most phone systems digitise the voice at around 8ksps and thus need to have a good filter to avoid aliasing.
ADSL uses high frequencies - but there's special equipment at both ends of the phone line to cope with this. Now, what was your question exactly?? |
