In the olden days when the king of diamonds were still a jack, there was no internat, but we still communicated with modems.
A modem is NOT an "internet device" it is simply an "en/decoding device". Even when you go on the internet by dial up your modem is "talking to" a modem at the provider who (hopefully) has an large bank of modems all the internet stuff comes later. Erik |
