Answer #1 implies, that it is a good idea to use external pullups on P2 when using it as the high part of address bus, and planning to use movx @Ri.
Not really. a) As opposed to movx @dptr, P2 hold the high address long before the movx @Ri happen. b) At the time P2 is set to the high address, a strong pullup occur. Erik |
