Thanks for the exhaustive explanation. This basically explains my "measurement". I was just surprised by the "strong-pullup-when-0-to-1". In my opinion, this means extra circuitry; while it should make no harm, if the strong pullup remains on for 2 extra oscillator cycles after a memory cycle with steady 1 - but I may be wrong, of course. By the way, what happens if no external memory interface is used (P2 is used as a plain port) and P2 SFR is written to? Is the strong pullup activated (for 2 oscillator cycles) only if the previous state of port latch (or pin state?) was 0? Jan Waclawek |
