#87161 - Pardon ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
David Salame said: mini-itx for 50$? how come? Sorry, I am from the UK, that GBP, not USD also , they come without a CPU no, you are wrong, there are quite a range with integrated CPUs, the one I use from VIA has an integrated cpu, and is designed to power economy. The EPIA ME6000 and PD10000 for example are fanless and integrated. and adding a CPU will require fan (as normal CPUs does. though i can underclock it so it won't get warm...). See my previous comments. the biggest problem is - most of them support only TFT , not CSTN...
Thats not really surprising, given the LCD market. For really cheap displays, the mini LCD TFT TVs can work fine - I even have one that can sustain 1024 x 768, with a touch screen interface, for I think around 250 USD. http://www.solarpc.com/tpanel.html I have just seen an 8" diagonal beastie that I would like there .....time to save up.
